This Act concerns the production, supply and distribution of liquid fuel, it consists of 57 sections and is divided into seven Parts. Part 2 deals with the administration of the Act, Part 3 concerns contingency planning and Part 4 provides for powers in the event of shortage or anticipated shortage of liquid fuel. Part 5 deals with liquid fuel emergencies and Part 5A with ethanol distribution. Part 6 contains enforcement provisions and Part 7 miscellaneous provisions, among others on compensation and regulations.
