The acquisition as well as the increase of livestock must be reported by the owner or possessor to the nearest Police station (reg. 2). Livestock means any class of bovines, ovines, caprines, swines and equines. Any reduction in the number of livestock, whether by death, slaughter or any other cause must be reported too (reg. 3). Regulation 4 empowers the Director of Agriculture to perform inspections. Regulation 5 establishes penalties.
