Cantonal Forest Law (921.1).

The present Act completes the federal legislation on forestry and promotes its enforcement. The Act is establishing rules on forest protection, access, events, riding and cycling, motor‑vehicle use, and permissible constructions. It sets planning obligations for forest development and operational plans, prescribes sustainable management and reporting of forest damage, and regulates measures for wildlife impact, training requirements, and financial contributions for forest maintenance. The Act outlines the roles of cantonal and municipal forest services and provides rules on corporations, improvements, legal remedies, penalties, and transitional provisions.
