This Ministerial Decree shall establish safety end environmental protection requirements in the process of construction, laying and operating of underwater pipelines and cables. It shall be applicable to all the waterbodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Underwater objects shall be projected in compliance with environmental protection and wildlife protection and management requirements. In shallow water the objects shall be embedded to such a degree as to permit safe navigation, efficient fisheries and protection of natural fish habitats and fish migration routes.
