This Regulation gives practical effect to the Waterworks Ordinance. It provides, among other things, for: permissions to construct, alter or remove fire services or inside services; fire service fees; installation of pipes and fittings; calculation of water consumption; licensing of plumbers; the use of public standpipes; fishing under licence in water forming part of the waterworks; water charges; prohibition of sale of water; offences and penalties.
