The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the notification of new substances and to duties to report in case of new substances exempted from compulsory notification, to duties to report in case of new substances not being put into circulation, or put into circulation only within the European Economic Area. The text - consisting of 11 articles – deals with the following matters: sphere of application, purpose, contents of notifications, evidence of basic testing, reduced notification and entry into force.
