This scope of this Proclamation is to establish an improved system for coffee quality control and marketing. The Proclamation provides rules relative to the coffee quality control process and rules relative to transactions involving coffee. In addition, it defines obligations of coffee producers, coffee traders and coffee exporters, defines powers of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and defines offences.
