These Regulations provide for the manner in which application for prospecting licences, mining licences and mining leases shall be made and the forms to be used. The Regulations also make provision for the possession and purchase of specified minerals, which mean minerals in their natural state. Authorized Buyer’s Licences to purchase specified minerals and Mineral Removal Permits to remove specified minerals from any mining area shall be obtained by the Commissioner of Mines. The Regulations further provide for: disposal of minerals other than those specified in the mining licence or lease; royalties, licence fees and premiums; offences and penalties; etc.
