Styria Timber Distribution Law 1983.

The present Law deals with “Einforstung" which has its roots in the mid-1800s, at a time when the State de-privatized massive sections of forests, yet entitled citizens to receive a certain volume of timber each year (Einforstungsrecht). In a way, forests are common property, and the "Abgabe" of timber is the delivery/distribution to those who are entitled to receive it. The present Law is still in effect today. The Law consists of 68 articles divided into 7 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); New regulations and regulations (II); Transfer of rights of use (III); Ensuring rights of use (IV); Transfer of timber in cases of compensation (V); Other servitudes (VI); Competent authorities, administrative proceedings (VII).
