Due to exhaustion of the allocated fishing quota, these provisions prohibit fishing for Herring (Clupea harengus) in European Union and Norwegian waters of IV north of 53° 30′ N, as from 11 November 2010. In particular it shall be prohibited to retain on board, relocate, tranship or land fish from that stock caught by those vessels after that date.
