This Ministerial Decree establishes compulsory minimum safety requirements for inland water facilities and installations. It shall be applicable to inland water harbour facilities. The purpose of technical regulation shall be to ensure safe navigation and compliance with environmental standards. The established technical requirements shall ensure ecological safety of inland water harbour facilities and installations which shall be subject to compulsory technical certification. Harbour facilities and installations shall be classified in accordance with the established requirements. State technical inspection of harbour facilities and installations shall be carried out by the Federal Transport Supervision Service, Federal Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision Service and the Federal Supervision Service on Nature Management.
