These Rules apply to scalefish fishery. The Rules provide for areas where scalefish fishing may occur, matters relating to the characteristics of scalefish, opening and closing seasons of saclefish fishery, commercial and non-commercial fishing gear, limits on the taking and possessing of fish and for the authority to take scalefish using a fishing licence. The Rules set out provisions relating to the different classes of scalefish fishing licences as discussed in detail in the text.
