The two Parties, mindful of the importance of water resources protection and development and desirous to promote a close and effective cooperation, have agreed to cooperate in the scientific and technical fields of this sector. They will focus on the following subjects: practical technology on urban and rural water conservation; engineering and biological technologies and practices for water and soil conservation; efficient technologies for hydropower development and management; environmental and ecological protection technology applicable in the process of water resources development and management.
