The Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and the Environment, in the exercise of the powers vested in him by section 9(1) of the Solid and Hazardous Waste (Polychlorinated Biphenyls and Polychlorinated Terphenyls (PCB/PCT) Regulations of 2002, notifies hereby the implementation of the National Action Plan and Guidelines for the Management and Disposal of Polychlorinated Biphenyls and Polychlorinated Terphenyls in Cyprus. The Plan establishes the procedure to be followed for the management and disposal of PCB/PCT in accordance with the obligations of the Republic deriving from Council Directive 96/59/EC.
