Agreement between the State Committee on Nuclear Regulation of Ukraine and the Federal Nuclear and Radiation Safety Survey of the Russian Federation on cooperation in the sphere of safe management of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.

The Parties have agreed to cooperate in the following spheres: (a) state regulation in the field of nuclear and radiation safety; (b) analysis of safety of nuclear power plants; (b) supervision over radiation safety and transportation of nuclear materials; (c) elaboration and application of rules, regulations and standards related to nuclear and radiation safety; and (d) regulation of management of radioactive sources. Cooperation shall be carried out in the following forms: (a) exchange of information and documentation; (b) exchange of staff; (c) transfer of expertise; and (e) realization of joint projects.
