These Regulations exempt, from needing approval of the Director, any person who possesses or handles toxins listed in the Fifth Schedule of the Act for carrying out activities solely with the intention of analyzing any specimen from another person, animal, the environment or any other source in which a Fifth Schedule toxin may be present. The Regulations further provide for duties of the exempted person and for offences.
