This Regional Decree establishes rules and regulations for artisanal and sport fishing, fishing areas, fishing gear, total allowable catch and establishes preferential terms for artisanal and sport fishing for certain categories of natural persons. Artisanal and sport fishing shall be authorized in accordance with nominal fishing licence issued for fee and valid for one calendar year. Artisanal and sport fishing shall be authorized with the use of fishing gear with fishhooks. Use of explosives, electric devices, firearms, air guns, harpooning devices, poisonous substances shall be prohibited. Underwater fishing shall be authorized with the use of harpoons and without aqualung and other self-contained underwater breathing apparatus and outside spawning period. Total allowable daily catch for natural persons shall be 5 kilograms of fish and 50 species of crayfish by special fishing permits.
