This Order implements provisions of the Bees (Import Control and Management) Act by prescribing forms for: application under section I of the Act for a permit to import bees or apicultural material into Nigeria; an undertaking of the applicant which shall accompany the application; and import permit. A permit shall be signed on behalf of the Minister by an officer of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture not below the rank of principal personnel officer. A permit to import shall be required for each consignment, whether of bees or of apicultural material.
