These Regulations, consisting of 38 sections divided into four Parts and completed by one Schedule, implement provisions of the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium Act. The Regulations make provision for matters related to the administration of the botanic gardens under the control of the Board including procedures to give approvals, the appointment and powers of authorized persons, etc. The Regulations prescribe conditions upon which the public may have access to or use the gardens and provide for the protection of flora and fauna within the botanic gardens. The Regulations further regulate the driving, parking or standing of vehicles in botanic gardens.
