This Act lays down rules for: (1) economic activities concerning production of bio-components; (2) production of liquid biofuels by farmers for their own use; (3) economic activities concerning marketing of bio-components and liquid biofuels, and identification and implementation of the National Indicative Target; (4) inspection; (5) reporting on biocomponents and liquid biofuels. The present Act is composed of the following Sections: (1) General provisions; (2) Rules of the production of biocomponents; (2a) Rules for conducting business activities in the field of intra-Community or import of biocomponents; (3) Rules of the production of liquid biofuels by farmers for their own use; (3a) Rules for counting electricity from renewable energy sources towards the implementation of the National Indicative Target; (4) Rules on the marketing of biocomponents and liquid biofuels; (4a) Certification of compliance with greenhouse gas emission reduction and sustainability criteria; (4b) Rules for conducting business activity in the scope of granting consent to use a recognized certification system and conducting business activity in the scope of issuing certificates; (5) Rules of inspection; (6) Rules of reporting; (7) Penalties; (8) Amendments to provisions currently in force; (9) Transitional and final provisions.
