This Decree, consisting of 3 Chapters, creates the Cooperative Extension Programme (PEC-RS) and Monitoring Programme for Management (PAG-RS) under the State Policy for the Promotion of Economic Cooperation and Cooperative Programme of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. The beneficiaries of the Cooperative Extension Programme (PEC-RS) and Monitoring Program Management (PAG-RS), will be those agricultural and livestock cooperatives who are legally established in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. These cooperatives are: production cooperatives; agro-business cooperatives; aquaculture and fishing cooperatives; and their respective central cooperatives. The Cooperative Extension Programme, aims at introducing technical-managerial, productive and educational improvements in local cooperatives, in order to increase competitiveness, promote interaction, cooperation between members and cooperatives, etc. The Decree is divided as follows: General provisions (Chap. I); Cooperatives' Extension Programme (Chap. II); Monitoring and Management Programme (Chap. III).
