This Norm, consisting of 7 articles, establishes procedures for the control and eradication of invasive alien plant species, classified in Category 1 of Order SEMA No. 79. This Norm establishes that cultivation, propagation (for any form of reproduction), trade, transportation, donation, acquisition or maintenance under any form of this plant species (in Annex I) are prohibited. The keeping of pre-existing plant species to this legislation, do not constitute infringement, but its gradual replacement or phase out should be made until the eradication of the species by the responsible for planting. Plant species included in Category 1 (Annex I) shall be eradication within five years from the publication of this Norm.
