The present Regulation is made under section 142 of the Electricity Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the production of electricity from renewable sources, such as: i) solar energy; ii) wind energy; iii) hydroelectric energy; iv) ocean-powered energy; v) biogas energy; vi) biomass energy; or vii) sanitary landfill gas. The text consist of 15 sections.
