The purpose of these Measures is to strengthen the management of the central treasury funds for agricultural technology extension and service subsidies, and improve the efficiency of the use of the funds. The Measures consist of 18 articles divided into 5 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Objects and Scope of Subsidies (II); Allocation and Disbursement of Funds(III); Fund Management and Supervision (IV); Supplementary Provisions (V). Agricultural technology extension and service funds are arranged by the central budget as special subsidies to support: popularizing agricultural technologies which are advanced technology applications, high yield and high quality, safety and environmental friendly, enhancing the ability of agricultural technology services, and improving the level of agricultural production technology.
