These Rules are formulated in accordance with the Article 51 of the Disaster Prevention and Relief Act. The Text consists of 20 Articles. The Disaster Prevention Committee of the Executive Yuan shall carry out inspection and assessment of the situation of disaster mitigation, preparedness, and response, post disaster reconstruction, scientific research achievements and measures, and review the basic disaster prevention and relief planning every five years. The disaster prevention and relief plans of public utilities and the local regional disaster prevention and relief plans shall be reviewed every two years.
