Memorandum of Understanding between General Administration of National Quality Supervision and Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China and Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia on the sanitary and phytosanitary cooperation and consultation.

This UoM, consisting of 15 articles, aims to strengthen the activities of the two countries in the SPS field in order to guarantee the safety of the consumers of the two countries, and promote trade and economic development of agricultural products. Article 1 deals with terms and definitions. Article 3 provides for the scope of the cooperation. Cooperation projects under this MOU shall be carried out by the China State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) and Indonesia Ministry of Agriculture (MOA). In order to promote and evaluate the implementation of the MoU, the Joint Steering Committees of the specific areas may be established.
