This Order, consisting of 4 Chapters and five Annexes, regulates procedures and requirements to be met for containers destined to be used for food, including fresh, drinks and bottled water, food ingredients, food raw materials, food additives, supporting manufacturing technology, packaging and other materials in contact with food and for communication to the Department of Food/NVP/DVS/CEVS. This Regulation applies to establishments carrying out activities, such as: production, processing, storage, transportation, distribution, import and or marketing of food, including fresh, drinks, bottled waters, their raw materials, ingredients, food additives, supporting the technology and packaging and other materials in contact with food.
