These Interim Administrative Measures are enacted to strengthen the management of the recycling and utilization of the power battery for new energy vehicles, promote the comprehensive utilization of resources, protect the environment and human health, and promote the sustainable and healthy development of the new energy automobile industry. The Text consists of 34 Articles divided into 6 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Responsibilities for Design, Production and Recovery (II); Comprehensive Utilization (III); Supervision and Administration (IV); Legal liabilities(V); Supplementary Provisions(VI). The Interim Administrative Measures provide for the requirements to be satisfied by the recovery and utilization of waste power battery produced in the process of production, use, utilization, storage and transportation.
