The purpose of these Provisions is to strengthen and standardize the sampling work of the quality supervision and control of veterinary drugs, and to ensure the scientific nature and impartiality of the sampling work. The Provisions consist of 17 Articles. The supervision and inspection institutions, established pursuant to the provisions of Article 30 of the Regulations on the Administration of Veterinary Drugs, shall carry out veterinary drug quality sampling for supervision. Sampling personnel should be familiar with the laws and regulations of veterinary medicine management, know well professional and technical knowledge, and master sampling procedures and sampling operation technology. During the sampling of the veterinary drug inspection institutions, the unit that is being sampled shall cooperate with each other; and provide to the sampling personnel the materials and information as provided for in Article 5, including: veterinary drug production license, veterinary drug production license, veterinary drug business operation license, etc.
