The purpose of these General Rules is to strengthen the administration of food production licensing, and regulate food production licensing review. Food production licensing review includs application materials review and on-site inspection. The General Rules detail the requirements for the review of production license applications for both food and food additives, as well as revisions and renewals thereof.
