This Governmental Decree establishes the modalities of performance of sanitary and epidemiological inspection (supervision) of physical persons, means of transport, commodities and cargo transferred through state border of the Kyrgyz Republic. Each border crossing point shall be provided with sanitary quarantine unit. Inspection, supervision and control shall be aimed at identification and prevention of spreading of diseases. Sanitary arrangements shall not be applicable in case of transit of commodities and cargo, without reloading, except for transit of livestock. Annex 1 contains the list of quarantine and infectious diseases requiring sanitary and quarantine inspection.
