This Regional Decree establishes that regional state nature reserve “Landscape reserve Troparevo” shall be classified as regional protected area constituted with a view of protection and conservation of natural complexes, natural landscapes, biological diversity, particular wild fauna and wild flora species vulnerable in urban conditions, and keeping recreational potential of natural reserves. It shall be destined for nature protection, ecological education and recreational purposes. Regional state nature reserve “Landscape reserve Troparevo” shall perform the following tasks: (a) conservation and monitoring of natural environment and natural landscapes; (b) protection of habitats of wild fauna species, and rare and endangered animal and bird species; (c) scientific research; (d) ecological education; and (e) keeping ecological balance. The following activities shall be prohibited: (a) any damage to wild flora and wild fauna species; (b) construction; (c) felling in the period from 1 April to 31 July; (d) gardening, horticulture and smallholding; (e) burning of vegetation; and (f) collection of wild flora species.
