For purposes of strengthening the standard administration of the work on the tip-off hotline for environmental protection, smoothening the tip-off channels for the general public and protecting and ensuring the lawful environmental rights and interests of the people, these Measures are formulated in accordance with the Regulation on Complaint Letters and Visits and other laws and regulations on environmental protection. The Measures consist of 27 articles divided into 5 Chapters: Overall Provisions (I); Offices, Functions and Functionaries (II); Work Procedures (III); Work Rules (IV); Supplementary Provisions (V). The competent environmental protection administrative authorities at all levels shall intensify the establishment of an office of tip-off hotline for environmental protection, and equip it with corresponding full-time functionaries so as to ensure the working conditions and keep the stability of team.
