In accordance with the purpose of this Memorandum, the Parties shall cooperate in the following areas: (a) water management and their protection; (b) flood forecasting and prevention, flood control and flood control information management system, and disaster reduction technology; (c) exchange and joint scientific and technological research related to water resources; (d) institutional building, personnel training and education; and (e) collaboration on other issues of common interest. Cooperation shall be implemented in the following forms: (a) promotion of high-level visits and technical exchange; (b) exchange of information and literature; (c) organization of joint seminars on issues of mutual interest; (d) stimulation of the research and management institutions of both Parties to implement joint research projects, to exchange research results, personnel and internships; (e) stimulation of cooperation and exchange between river basin institutions of the Parties; and (f) exchange of information on projects open to international tenders and stimulation of water companies of both Parties to cooperate on joint implementation of construction projects.
