The purpose of this Agreement is to establish a framework for cooperation between China and Egypt in the field of petroleum and natural gas. In accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the two countries, the two Parties encourage their respective enterprises to cooperate in oil exploration and development, oil refining, petrochemical, natural gas production and processing, transportation and distribution, industry equipment production and marketing in the two countries.
