This Law sets the maximum permitted levels of noise, noise protection measures and noise measurement methods, as regards the Sarajevo Canton, part of Bosnia and Hercegovina. These noise levels are aligned with the purpose of space and time of day, so they do not endanger the effective dynamics and quality of life and health. This Law further provides for monitoring rules aimed to implement the provisions and limits here imposed. This Law also sets the offences and penalties (see Chapter V). The Annex containing technical issues and permissible noise levels is part of this text.
