These Rules are enacted to further clarify the division of power of investigation and handling of food and drug cases in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, crack down on illegal and criminal activities of food and drug, and effectively guarantee the safety of food and drug. Scope of power of investigation and handling of food and drug cases at regional level shall include: 1. Food licensing: 1.1 Cancellation of health food production license; 1.2 Revoke the production license of special medical formula food; 1.3 Revoke the production license of infant and children formula milk powder; 2. Supervisory of production and business operation 1.1 Concerning the quality and safety of health food; 1.2 Concerning the quality and safety of infants and children formula food; 1.3 Concerning the quality and safety of formulated foods for special medical purposes; etc.
