Governmental Decree No. 1029 of 28 September 2015 validating the criteria for the defining objects that adversely affect the environment as objects I, II, III and IV categories.

This Decree assigns different categories to the facilities that adversely impact environment: pharmaceutical and pesticides production, poultry and swine production of large size (I category). Business entities of the I category causing considerable negative environmental impact pertain to the field of application of good practices. Law on environment protection requires entities that operate facilities of I category to obtain an integrated environmental permit which should include the calculation of permitted emissions (pollution).
