This Regulation prescribes the manner and procedure for reporting as regards the presence of animal diseases that are considered as obligatorily reportable ones. In relation to this, the text provides for the complete list of such animal diseases (land animals, aquaculture and fish diseases). This Regulation shall apply for the reporting over the following: hotspots of diseases here determined and listed; withdrawal of the bans, after eradication of the last hotspot, in relation to the diseases here listed. This Regulation further harmonizes the national legislation with the provisions contained in the Council Directive 82/894/EEC of 21 December 1982 on the notification of animal diseases within the Community.
