The purpose of these Regulations is to amend the Regulations concerning the prohibition of manufacture, trade and commercial distribution of domestically produced and imported plastic carrier bags and plastic flat bags. The amendments concern: the prohibition of manufacture and trade of specific plastic bags; the updating of criminal sanctions; and the insertion of the definition of post-consumer recyclate, as material generated by households or commercial, industrial or institutional facilities, in their role as end -users of the product, which can no longer be used for its intended purpose.
