This CMM adopted by the South Pacific Regional Fisheries Management Organisation (SPRFMO) establish boarding and inspection procedures for fishing vessels in the Convention Area. The procedures apply to all fishing vessels engaged in or reported to have engaged in fishing for fisheries resources regulated by the Convention, except those operating within the exclusive jurisdiction of a Contracting Party. The procedures outline the roles and responsibilities of the authorised inspection vessels, inspectors, and fishing vessels in conducting, accepting, and reporting on boarding and inspection activities. The procedures are intended to be transparent, non-discriminatory, and consistent with the Convention and other international measures. The text consists of 50 Articles.
