This Law establishes the Land Regularization Policy for Rural and Urban Public Lands belonging to the State of Rondônia, in accordance with the Constitution of the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Constitution of the State of Rondônia, Federal Law No. 13.465 of 11 July 2017, as well as other rules of agrarian law. The policy defined must be compatible with the Agricultural Policy and the National Agrarian Reform Plan, in addition to complying with the principles of sustainable development, legality, impersonality, morality, efficiency and speed. The objectives of the Policy for the Regularization of Urban and Rural Public Lands belonging to the State of Rondônia are: I - promote the regularization of occupations on public land in the registry and environmental spheres; II - guarantee the fulfilment of the social function of property; and III - organize the occupation and exploitation of the territory of the State of Rondônia, in harmony with the aforementioned legal provisions.
