This Act amends the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955 (principal Act). The explanation to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the principal Act is amended. A new sub-section (6) is added after sub-section (5) of section 4C. Sections 14B, 14E and 14Z of the principal Act are amended. Further, sections 23A and 51A are amended.
