Government Decision No. 1749 defining the basin management areas and their management plans.

Basin management areas are defined by the government decision and are based on the following criteria: (a) watersheds of the water basin; (b) characteristics of water resources of each basin; (c) the hydrological cycle of the water basin; and (e) features of economic water supply and drainage of administrative territories.
