This Law creates the Legislative Plan for Coordination and Monitoring of Actions Related to the Climate Crisis (PLAM Climate Crisis) for the 2025-2026 biennium, resulting from the Technical Seminar “Climate Crisis in Minas Gerais: Challenges in Living with Drought and Extreme Rain”, promoted by the Legislative Assembly with the participation of society. PLAM Climate Crisis is composed of measures related to: parliamentary action; promoting public policies. The parliamentary action referred to in item I of the caput includes: processing of legislative proposals; presentation and monitoring of requests for information and measures; and use of participatory practices to discuss and deepen issues related to climate change.
