These Regulations, made under section 102 of the Environment Act 2024, amend the Environment Protection (Banning of Plastic Bags) Regulations 2020. Amendments concern: replacement of paragraphs; deleting and replacing the following definitions: biodegradable plastic bag, compostable plastic bag, plastic; adding a new schedule.
