This Regulation is formulated in accordance with the Statistics Law of the People's Republic of China, aiming to scientifically and effectively organize and implement the national agricultural census, and ensure the authenticity, accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of agricultural census data. The Regulation consists of seven Chapters: General Provisions; Objects, Scope and Content of the Agricultural Census; Organization and Implementation of the Agricultural Census; Data Processing and Quality Control; Publication, Management and Utilization of Data; Rewards and Penalties; Supplementary Provisions. The content of the agricultural census shall includes: agricultural production conditions, agricultural production and business operation activities, agricultural land use, rural residents' lives, rural labor force and employment, rural industrial development, rural construction, rural governance, and other related situations.
