This Order establishes a simplified model for granting and paying full indemnification and compensation to mink undertakings with own mink production in 2020 that choose this model upon permanent closure of their operations as a result of the temporary mink-keeping ban. It covers compensation for lost future earnings from mink production, breeding animals, mink-specific fixed assets, unused cage and stable capacity, sale of live breeding animals, pelting for third parties, lost manure value, expert assistance and fixed costs. The Order sets detailed calculation methods using standard values, fur indices, 2019 accounting data, estimated 2020 production figures, environmental-permit limits, discount rates and deductions for amounts already paid. It also regulates applications through virk.dk, auditor-certified information forms, asset inspections, compensation for mink halls on third-party property, state acquisition or demolition of compensated assets, access and re-establishment duties, distribution of compensation to rights holders, set-off, repayment, appeals and reopening of ordinary compensation proceedings if the simplified model is rejected or refused.
