This Notification lays down the procedures and principles regarding embryo production from breeding cattle (including buffalo), sheep, goats, cats, and dogs, as well as the transfer, storage, marketing, registration and traceability of the produced embryos. It sets out provisions on the general requirements, health requirements for the production facilities and donor animals; vaccination of donor animals; technical criteria and performance requirements for donor animals; production permits; and the requirements for embryo production using in vivo and in vitro methods in embryo production and sales facilities.
