Sewerage and Drainage (Fees) Regulations 2015.

The Sewerage and Drainage (Fees) Regulations 2015 establish the fees payable for specified applications and services under the Sewerage and Drainage Act. The Regulations provide, in particular, for fees for obtaining copies of plans or records and for applications under section 33(1) of the Act for clearance certificates or approval by the Public Utilities Board in respect of prescribed works. The current consolidated text distinguishes between minor projects, for which the application fee is S$1,450, and major projects, for which the fee is S$1,850. The Regulations also prescribe a fee of S$950 for each requirement in respect of which an administrative exemption is sought under section 73A(1) of the Act. They define the types of works that qualify as minor projects and provide that the relevant application fee must accompany the first submission of plans. In addition, the Regulations authorise the Public Utilities Board to remit or refund, wholly or partly, any fee payable or paid under the Regulations. The document examined is the informal consolidated version in force from 1 April 2025, incorporating amendments including those made by S 206/2025.
